The origins story
A fire rustling by the stream at the foot of the Yuhor mountain
Boban Almazan has always had a talent for bringing people together. He needs very little to turn a dilapidated factory into a cosy cave and a campsite into a Michelin-star restaurant.
Where there is fire and good company, there is Boban’s Almazan Kitchen.
His nephew Aleksandar grew up by his side. Ever since he was a kid, he’d rush off to the Yuhor mountain every chance he’d get to watch his uncle gather friends, family and a few stray dogs with the first scents of his insanely good food.
One day Aleksandar picked up his new camera. The light turned red. And that’s that. Almazan Kitchen was online and today it gathers people worldwide around campfire and great food.
The philosophy
It is instinctive. It is primal. It is human.
Almazan Kitchen is simply old-school cooking — perhaps the oldest school there is.
The beauty of this method is not only in mouthwatering food.
It’s in its power to stop time. Make you click pause. Refresh.
Whether camping with the Almazans’ or joining on the other side of the screen, Almazan Kitchen attracts millions worldwide with crafts and experiences we may have forgotten but still yearn for.
Gathered around fire, good food and soothing sounds of nature,
you don’t need to say a word to connect.
