Chicken Livers – Džigerica na žaru




  • Chicken livers 600g
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp. premium dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. wild cherry juice
  • 4 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp. cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • olive oil

Our field chief decided to share his secret owlesome marinade for chicken leavers! With wild cherries and dark soy sauce… mmm… It’s so delicious. We also made some simple cream cheese sauce, awesome addition to that delicious livers!


Marinating the livers:

  • Take the grinder, place 2 garlic cloves into it, smash and grind it.
  • Add 2 tbsp. premium dark soy sauce.
  • Add 2 tbsp. wild cherry juice.
  • Mix it well.
  • Dip 600g chicken livers in the sauce.

Grilling the livers:

  • Place marinated livers on the grill cage.
  • Add 4 spring onions for the taste.
  • Grill the livers on med-high heat coals for 5 min. on each side.

Addition for the livers:

  • Prepare the wooden bowl.
  • Add 1 egg yolk.
  • Add 2 tbsp. cream cheese.
  • Mix it well.
  • Spread the cream on the cutting board.
  • Place grilled livers on the cream.
  • Decorate livers with cream, chopped onion greens and some olive oil.
  • Enjoy! Bon Almazan!
