About Almazan Kitchen
Almazan Kitchen started with a simple idea: cook real food, outdoors, with real tools, and film it without a word spoken. The films traveled the world. Then came the question we heard more than any other: where can I get that knife?
So we started making them available.
Every piece is hand-forged
The knives, axes and cast-iron cookware you see in the films are made the traditional way, one piece at a time. Every blade carries its own forge marks, so no two are identical, and that is the point. Machine-pressed knives leave a factory in the thousands. Ours leave a forge, and with a little care they last a lifetime.
What we make
- Hand-forged knives and axes: the Original Serbian Chef Knife, the Curved Serbian Chef Knife, the Promaja and Zmaj knives, the Kiritsuke and the Serbian Chef Axe.
- Walnut boards and serving pieces, plus bowls, spatulas and steak boards in olive wood.
- Cast-iron cookware and forged spatulas for the stove, the grill and the open fire.
- Hand-stitched leather sheaths, each cut for a specific blade.
- Our own spice mixes and organic Serbian honey, the same ones that go on the food in the films.
How we work
- Forged and finished by hand in Serbia.
- Every piece is inspected before it ships.
- Tracked shipping worldwide, free on orders over $199.
- 30 days to return an unused item in its original packaging.
Where you may have seen us
Our cooking films, and the tools in them, have been written about by VICE, Fine Dining Lovers, Slavorum and Škoda Storyboard. It all started on the @AlmazanKitchen YouTube channel, where the films are still free to watch.
